What Is a Pineapple Juice Machine and How Does It Work?

The juicing principle of the large pineapple juicer is mainly based on mechanical squeezing technology, which separates the juice from the pineapple pulp by physical squeezing and grinding. The following is its core working principle and process:

  1. Squeezing principle
Physical squeezing: The juicer is equipped with a spiral propeller or a rotating roller inside, which uses mechanical force to exert pressure on the pineapple pulp, ruptures the cell wall, and releases the juice.

Separation process: During the squeezing process, the pulp is squeezed into a muddy state, the juice flows out through the screen or filter hole, and the pomace is discharged.

  1. Workflow
Feeding: After pre-treatment such as washing, peeling, and cutting, the pineapple enters the juicer through the feed port.

Squeezing: The spiral propeller or rotating roller continuously pushes the pulp to form a high-pressure environment, so that the juice is squeezed out.

Filtration: The juice passes through the screen or filter hole to remove large particles of pomace to ensure the purity of the juice.

Dregs discharge: The remaining pomace is discharged from the machine to avoid blockage or affect subsequent squeezing.

  1. Key technical features
Efficient squeezing: The design of the screw propeller allows the pulp to be continuously subjected to uniform pressure during the squeezing process, thereby increasing the juice yield.

Low-speed grinding: Compared with high-speed centrifugal juicers, press juicers reduce oxidation and retain more nutrients through low-speed grinding.

Juice and pomace separation: The fine design of the screen or filter hole ensures that the juice and pomace are completely separated, improving the quality of the juice.

  1. Advantages
High juice yield: Squeezing technology can fully extract the juice from the pineapple and reduce waste.

Nutrient retention: Low-temperature squeezing avoids high temperature from destroying nutrients such as vitamin C.

Wide applicability: It can handle pineapples of different degrees of maturity and meet the needs of large-scale production.

  1. Application scenarios
Large juicers are usually used in food processing plants, beverage production lines and other scenarios to meet the needs of industrial production.
